Renters Reform Bill.

It's finally here! After 4 years in development the Renters Reform Bill white paper finally arrives next week after Michael Gove announced last night.

 “We’re introducing new legislation, it will be out next week and it will change the way in which the relationship between landlords and tenants work, providing tenants with new protection which should ensure that they’re better protected from arbitrary rent increases.”

Very little is known about what the reform will include but it seems pretty certain that top of the list is the abolishment on Section 21, along with a strengthening on Section 8, mandatory registration for Landlords and the introduction of a Decent Homes Standard.
